Golovkin vs Rolls live

In September, Gennady Golovkin suffered his first defeat. Now he wants to find his way back to winning ways. Golovkin signed the contract of his life with DAZN in early March and will make his debut at the venerable Madison Square Garden in New York. Only one week after the hotly anticipated heavyweight fight between Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller, the 37-year-old’s last match against Rolls on the night of 8 June is June 9.

Golovkin vs Rolls Live Broadcast in the LIVE STREAM

As former middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs) gets ready to return to action this summer against Steve Rolls (19-0, 10 KOs). The fight between Golovkin vs Rolls live stream will be shown exclusively on DAZN. The Kazakh signed a multi-million contract with the streaming platform in September. This contract provides for “GGG” to fight for the rest of his career on DAZN. In the next three years, he will fight twice a year on the platform. From 2020 Golovkin will present two additional cards per year at DAZN. The fights will be shown to DAZN customers at no extra cost and will not be a pay-per-event as it was in previous fights.

“I am very excited to be returning to the ring and bringing the Big Drama Show back to Madison Square Garden. The Garden’s fans are fantastic,” said Golovkin. “I love boxing and I promise to bring the best of me to everyone who will be watching me in an all-action fight with Steve Rolls. I am very happy that GGG Promotions has a new home at DAZN.”

Although Golovkin will start as a clear favorite, Rolls is adamant he has the tools to cause the former world champion problems. “I’ve won national championships and represented my country, and Golovkin is just a man,” the 35-year-old said. “I’m coming to win this fight and put my name among the best middleweights in the world.”

Golovkin, 37, enters this fight coming off a disputed decision loss to Canelo Alvarez last September. And while Golovkin may be on the downside of his career, but he’s still plenty good and plenty dangerous. So while looking to preserve what will be a third opportunity to fight Canelo Alvarez later this year, Golovkin is taking a pretty soft touch here.

Rolls, 35, may be an undefeated fighter, but he’s also never fought anyone even near the caliber of Golovkin, and will undoubtedly enter the ring as a massive underdog. This fight won’t get the fan’s juices flowing, but, as they say, ‘it is what it is.’Watch what the fighters have to say about their upcoming fight, set for June 8th at Madison Square Garden, right now!
